‘t Woudt Nursery in Midden-Delfland, on the outskirts of the Westland horticultural region, is a true specialist. A specialist in the smallest of all; the most exclusive vine cherry tomatoes available on the market. ‘t Woudt Nursery, in the capable hands of Paul van Koppen and Ed van der Knaap, has been growing only vine cherry tomatoes for nearly ten years now. They recently introduced a new variety called Chica, which is unparalleled to none when it comes to quality and presentation.
‘t Woudt Nursery is active at two locations, where the entrepreneurs have 65,000 m2 of greenhouses at their disposal. In these modern greenhouses, the vine cherry tomatoes grow under optimum conditions, with maximum attention for food safety and the environment. In the cutting season, the full-time team of six staff is assisted by a large group of seasonal employees. ‘t Woudt Nursery currently grows two types of vine cherry tomatoes; Chica and Golden Red.
